Va. students build, distribute solar-powered hot spots

Remote learners in Louisa County Public Schools in Virginia have the internet access necessary to participate in virtual learning, thanks to the Wireless on Wheels program. Students at the district’s high school constructed and distributed 30 solar-powered hot spot stations, with their efforts recognized as runner-up in the National STEM Innovation Challenge.
