Amina Muaddi is back with what’s-bound-to-be another blockbuster collaboration: A limited-edition sandal designed alongside Swarovski.

Muaddi reimagined the much-loved Julia sandal for this collaboration, known for its glam rock aesthetic and edgy spike embellishments. The new version features a hot pink colourway that’s exclusive to Swarovski and crystal spikes for an extra dose of sparkle. The brand’s signature cone-shaped heel and pvc straps have also been reworked in a soft rose hue.

It’s the ultimate Barbie heel that would take any woman back to her childhood dreams and get her giddy with excitement. It also presents countless styling possibilities: you can pair it with neutrals and make it the focal point of your outfit or go all out like Muaddi herself and have fun by matching the shoes with equally loud accessories and jewelry.

The designer models the new sandals in a campaign for Swarovski with a mini dress in the same hot pink shade and oversized crystal rings and bracelets.

The collaboration is part of Swarovski’s Creators Lab, spearheaded by the company’s new creative director Giovanna Battaglia, who has been giving the brand a modern-day facelift with new collaborations, revamped store concepts and cool chunk jewelry designs.

As part of the Creators Lab, innovative brands like Muaddi, Nike and Judith Lieber are invited to collaborate with the crystal company on limited-edition products. In addition to the hot pink Julia sandals, you’ll also find bejewelled sneakers, collectible basketballs, and embellished clutches in the range.

The Julia sandals, which retail for 1,000 pounds, can be purchased on Swarovski’s website and are quickly selling out.

As the world opens up and socializing resumes, demand for Amina Muaddi shoes is only getting bigger: The designer has had another successful year with sell-out collaborations with A$AP Rocky and Wolford, while more recently she was also given the Entrepreneur of The Year award by Fashion Trust Arabia.

Her new-season collection keeps exploring all things glamour and sparkle and fashion insiders are expecting her to keep leading shoe trends all through next year too, with her new platform designs, bold colors and 90’s inspired crystal chains.
